Valentine in Color

This is Valentine, a Parallel with vague but influential connections to the main character group. His name is odd, but very fitting. He met Theo in their freshman year - they both took French - and had the poor, freshly uncloseted pansexual briefly and painfully obsessed with him without realizing it or even making any conscious effort to attract him. The crush passed when Theo realized their totally incompatible IQs, interests and identities in general, but by that time Val had met Duncan and the cycle repeated, Duncan passing by the stage as well for similar reasons and leaving the object of so much affection still oblivious. Duncan and Theo unintentionally made Val a part of their lunch group, resulting in Miranda now carrying the metaphorical torch. Where that will go remains to be seen.

Valentine has more piercings, intentionally ripped clothing, and sexual experience than any of the other Parallels, though Duncan and Alyx are vying with him in some categories.
